Party Speaker Manufacturing Process

I. Overall Process and Key Control Points
Designed for high sound pressure, strong bass, and long-term stable operation, the production of party speakers follows a closed-loop process of "design - incoming materials - components - assembly - acoustic testing - packaging". Key control points include: acoustic design (target frequency response, cabinet type, crossover strategy), consistency of incoming materials (speakers, amplifiers, power supplies, plastic/wooden parts), assembly precision (driver positioning, sealing and reinforcement), electrical safety (voltage withstand, insulation, grounding), aging and reliability verification, and multiple rounds of acoustic testing and labeling management before shipment.
II. Incoming Material Inspection and Key Component Processes
- Incoming Material Inspection (IQC): Sampling inspection and dimensional/electrical verification are performed on electronic components, hardware, plastic materials, speaker materials, and wooden cabinet materials. Commonly used equipment includes power meters, oscilloscopes, millivoltmeters, digital bridges, capacitor leakage current testers, and vernier calipers. Judgment is made against electrical parameter tables, structural drawings, and sample approval documents.
- Speaker Unit Manufacturing: The process involves magnetic circuit assembly (iron cone/magnet/washer) - magnet insertion - centering spider/suspension - voice coil - diaphragm/dust cap, etc. Key control points include magnetic gap uniformity, air gap height, bonding strength, and consistency to ensure sensitivity, distortion, and power handling capabilities meet specifications.
- Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA): Production is organized according to plug-in - wave soldering - post-soldering - functional board assembly. ICT, AOI, visual inspection, and electrical performance testing (such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and millivoltmeters) are used to eliminate cold solder joints, short circuits, and parameter drift.
- Plastic and Wooden Parts: Plastic parts mainly follow a process of injection molding-spray painting-screen printing/hot stamping-baking. Adhesion of the coating is commonly tested using a cross-hatch cutter (1mm) and 3M tape, supplemented by alcohol/rubber abrasion tests. Wooden parts undergo cutting-machining (V-grooving, drilling, punching)-veneering-assembly into boxes, with strict control over moisture content, jointing, and adhesive strength.
III. Cabinet Manufacturing and Surface Treatment
The cabinet is the "foundation" of the party speaker's low-frequency response and sound field. Common processes include:
- Wooden Cabinets: Using multi-layer boards/solid wood, high-strength structures are achieved through V-groove bending-gluing or 45°+90° precision machining assembly; followed by multiple processes including sanding-primer-topcoat (including high-gloss/piano finish), balancing acoustic and aesthetic quality.
- Plastic/Composite Material Cabinets: Injection molding is used to achieve complex curved surfaces and structural strength, followed by decorative treatments such as spraying/screen printing/hot stamping, and baking to ensure coating stability.
- Structural Key Points: Strict control over board thickness and internal reinforcement, port tube geometry (length/diameter), sealing, and damping material filling is crucial to ensure controlled low-frequency extension, transient response, and cabinet resonance.
IV. Final Assembly and System Integration
- Amplifier and Power Supply: Installation and wiring of the transformer/power board/amplifier board/function board are completed, ensuring correct polarity, standardized wiring sequence, and reliable grounding, laying the foundation for subsequent voltage and reliability testing.
- Driver Assembly: The woofer/tweeter units are fixed according to design positioning and torque requirements, ensuring front panel flatness, gasket fit, and secure grille attachment to prevent abnormal noise and air leaks.
- System Debugging: Initial settings for input gain structure, crossover parameters, EQ/limiting/protection strategies are performed, providing a consistent baseline for acoustic fine-tuning.
- Party Scene Enhancement: Integrated Bluetooth/UHF/2.4G wireless connectivity, TWS wireless serial connection, RGB lighting effects/DMX interface, high-capacity battery/power management, and multiple microphone/instrument interfaces are included as per product definition, ensuring ease of use and excellent live performance.
V. Acoustic Testing, Quality Control, and Packaging & Shipping
- Acoustic Testing: Frequency response, distortion rate, sensitivity, sound pressure level, and directivity measurements are performed in an anechoic/semi-anechoic environment. Subjective listening tests are conducted when necessary to ensure uniform coverage and speech clarity.
- Electrical and Safety: Safety regulations such as voltage withstand, insulation, and grounding continuity are performed, and overload/over-temperature/short-circuit protection strategies are verified. Interference and power consumption of wireless and lighting systems are evaluated.
- Aging and Reliability: Long-term full-load aging and high/low temperature/humidity/vibration stress screening are implemented to expose early failures and improve batch consistency.
- Final Inspection and Traceability: Complete appearance inspection, function/electrical testing QC, and FQC are performed; each product is assigned an "identity card" (assembly and testing personnel signature/barcode) for quality traceability.
- Packaging and Shipping: A protective solution using inner cushioning and reinforced cartons is employed, including an accessories list, instruction manual, and warranty card. Batch and quantity are re-checked before warehousing to ensure transportation and unboxing quality.
